I'm Scotty Burch, here in Austin, Texas, USA. I've been involved with speaking in one form or another for many years.

This includes small market radio, MC, speaker, conference chair and host, and trainer. With a long background in big business, I have a day job, so I won't mis-represent myself as some high-powered motivational guru here, either. But a passion for the art of speaking brings forth this blog about sharing ideas - tips and tricks for public speaking.

In my career in certified Project Management, I've had the opportunity to witness and develop speeches of every corporate, charity, awards, video, product launch, motivation, and sales variety. I've MCd worldwide conferences, banquets, and charity events. I've won numerous awards the past few years in speech competitions and I've begun working with seminar companies to augment their offerings.

It's a fun ride in the speaking world, and I'm happy to share what I'm learning along the way. In speech craft and speech coaching, I've accumulated literally hundreds of ideas which I'll share here.
